Well, for the whole infection to run its course, it should take about a week or 5-7 days. I believe that the antibiotics will help within the first 3 to help speed up the healing! Feel better! =] <3
Ahh poor you .. I find keeping it warm helps.. maybe a warm hot water bottle if you understand what I mean....
try to not think about it and it will go faster
pain is worse when you think about it
try doing somehting that wil take your mind off it
I had an earache before it ended up to be swimmers ear but that was me lol umm as long as you went to the docters and got an drug for it you have to let it run it course and keep takeing the drug dont stop until the doc says so or you run out of the stuff Hope I helped

i had them (ear ache) when i was young ..
sometimes i used to cry with the pain
in a week. but just for reference. when you have a earache and the doc says that you need antibiotics. try to fight it yourself without the antibiotics. I read recentley on web md that the antibiotics take only one day away from the irratation the ear infection gives you. and the bad part is they take away all your antibodies making you subsceptible to other infections,can get a yeast infection or colds. my family only takes antibiotics when it is extrmemly needed. take ibuprofen to take the edge off the pain.
