I have Endometriosis, the worst pain in my life.?!

Question: I've been on Lupron (caused heart problems and fainting) Depo Provera SubQ 104 (caused depression and no pain relief) and several different birth controls none of which stopped the pain. I finally got a laproscopic surgery in February and that the only relief i've had. Does anyone no of any other medicines, therapy or anything!!?!?!

Please ask for a referral to a gynecologist and discuss all the available options, when offered any medication ask if there is any side affects, and do they reduce your chance of having children later on.

I had endo really bad myself, and ended up having a hysterectomy when I was 30, sadly my daughter has very severe endo, and is under the care of a gynecologist at a fertility clinic. She had tried many types of medication, and had several laproscope surgery, and they are now suggesting she think about having a child before its to late, and to see if it will help with the endo. She will be 22 next week.

My daughter uses hot water bottle or heat packs, as well as Naprogesic, a anti-inflammatory (not sure which) and Buscopan none really helping much. She has also looked into herbal/natural supplements, but found them to be expensive and of little benefit, however this does not mean it wont work for you.

I honestly hope that they can find something to help woman with endometriosis, so you and my daughter get some relief and live normally.

First, I am a male but I must say I really feel for you because I have seen a lot of women with this condition. I know it is truly horrible.

First, you could try naproxen for some relief. Next, you could try any form of birth control. Misoprostal will evacuate the uterus of matter and it is also a pain reliever for joint pain. It is a prostaglandin. Some NSAIDS used for this include Dicoflenac Sodium, and Naproxen. Taken with a PPI like prevacid (which is OTC), you can get good efficacy without a lot of stomach pain.

Wow...I never realized it was so bad. I read about it and all I could find for treatment was a holistic approach discussed on this site:

Danazol --
http://www.drugs.com/pro/danazol.html.

Medical treatment is not completely effective or longlasting.

Laparoscopic removal of adhesions and cysts will give some relief.
If the pain recurs, total hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries may be needed.

-i think you need to perform surgery to remove cysts/
-perform hysterectomy(surgigal removal of the womb and ovaries) if necessary.

i have the same case like your case right now...
but
i remain to believe that Jesus is my healer...
i keep on confessing that until the pain was gone and the doctor said one day, that no more surgery needs.
