FROST BITE, help!!!!?!
Question: i was shoveling snow and my fingers got really cold. dumb me kept doing it until i was done. when i got in, 2 of my finger tips were swollen and red. right now, theres a small bulge on the side of my middle finger. it looks a little pale as well. is this frost bite? and what should i do b/c i dont have insurance?

It might be a mild case. The best thing to do is SLOWLY warm the fingers and hand back up. Slowly immerse them in tepid water. NOT hot water. The small bulge might be the start of a blister - this shouldn't happen with frost bite. If you didn't wear gloves when you were shoveling - then you should next time. This will protect your hands better. Good luck to you.
