Achy scalp???!
Question: For about the past 2 years I have been suffering with what the only thing I can call it is an achy scalp. One part of my head actually aches very badly and can not even be touched. Alot of times it will lead to a headache. My doctor says he has never heard of such a thing and doesnt know what it could be. Is there anyone out there who has heard of such a thing or who has also suffered from this?

I get pain under my scalp in my head sometimes. I get migraines, neck and shoulder pain and scalp that is painful to touch. I have tried putting sesame oil on my scal when it hurts and that can help.
I have twice had acupuncture into the painful area and it helps too. It is a weird thing and most people seem to think I'm crazy, but I'm not, my head just hurts!
I get that feeling when I wear my hair a certain way, say with a headband or pulled too tightly. My husband complains of the same thing when he wears a beanie for the cold.
But sounds like your problem is constant. Can you get a second opinion? I saw that only because it leads to headaches so it might be serious.
