Broken toes??!
Question: i was leading my horse when he spooked and landed on my foot..my three little toes are realy painful,along with the side of my foot, but neither my toes or foot seem to have bruised that badly. do you think it is worth going to get it checked out? or is that just a waste of time?

There's nothing to be done but let time heal. The best thing to do is neighbourhood strapping, that is strap your injured toe to the healthy toe next to it. Even with a piece of lolly stick between the toes to offer a splint. But be careful as you don't want to injure the skin web between your toes. The only time any treatment is offered is if the toe is grossly deformed or out of shape. I wouldn't say turning up to casualty wasn't a waste of time it's just the waiting for little action and only to be told what you already think, that it's broken. You would not be seen as a waste of time, but just your injury would be classed as minor, so you would not be high on the list to be seen. Having said that if you went to hospital services such as X-ray become available and then you would know for sure if it's broken or not.
Well personally its a waste of time as they wont do anything even if they are broken, just tell you to keep off your foot as much as posible and keep it elivated. But if you want peace of mind it wouldnt hurt to go to A & E
You should call for a toe truck.
I had the same type thing happen only she stood on it and wouldn't get off. I had it ex-rayed but they only said it was a deep bruise. The only real way to know is to get an ex-ray and find out. Until then elevate it, apply ice for 20 min on and 20 min off, do not go more than 20 min on at a time. rest it as much as possible. Get well soon

sounds sore just get them checked out to be sure....plenty of ice and keep it elevated should help meantime ...
I would if I were you. Most other people have only two little toes - one on each foot.
You must have been bashed on the head as well and seeing double or at least one and a half - you have three little toes??
All you can do for broken toes is, tape the broken one(s) to the unbroken one next to it.
