Is cracking knuckles bad for guitar players hands?!

Question: It's not bad for you hands as a guitar player, but it is also not beneficial.
Nonetheless, it shouldn't hurt you unless you do it constantly as cracking your knuckles eventually wears on the cartilage and you can develop a risk of gaining arthritis quicker.
A lot of guitarists do tend to crack their knuckles before a huge riff to relieve some of the tension in their hands. Whether this actually true or just a psychological aid, I do not know, but from what we know right now cracking your knuckles isn't going to hurt you as a guitarist. You just want to be able to have control over this habit (once in a while is just fine).

Yes your fingers will get all messed up.

It's bad for anyone hands- it causes arthritis down the line. I've been cracking mine for 15 years

Probably yes,
I've found that my knuckles crack when doing stretches before i start playing.

I had the pleasure of meeting an excellent Guitar player who hands are crippled due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is in the process of having all his knuckles replaced. I had hired him for a charity Dance and was concerned when I saw his hands, like How in **** name are you going to be able to play the guitar? He hit the stage at 9pm and finished at 2am, non-stop. Mind you we literally had to peel the guitar off him, but boy can he play! Good Luck
