.Drink lots of water(6 litres everyday) to moisten lips internally and naturally.
.Lip balm will keep it soft only for half an hour.

carmex.

use more chapstick

I like Burt's Bees products for my lips

use burt's bees chapstick, or other really high quality stuff, and keep it in your pocket and put it on every few minutes.

Protopic 1.0 is perfect for chapped lips if nothing else is working. You need a prescription for it though.

I think the answer is in the question. Your lips need constant moisturization to keep from getting chapped. If you want to keep your lips from getting chapped, I suggest wearing a lip balm or chapstick daily.

Use Carmex or Any Medicated chapstick..really helps. dont use any flavored lip balms because they can make your lips even dryer. Burts Beeswacks Balms is also really effective. Just use anything that contains oil healthy for your lips. You could even use sunscreen on them. :] hope that helped

Use lip balm but see that it should not contain any camphor, methenol, peppermints or any petroleum products.
Apply coconut oil, oliveoil or shea butter, whatever is possible.
Avoid licking your lips.
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids.

may i suggest some Dr. Plant's Magic Lip Balm?

a very unique cylinder-shaped container. almost flesh-like.

It is common in the winter. Try home made ghee at bed time.
Try to reduce body heat by drinking hot milk with one spoon hot ghee mixed at bed time for week.
