Perhaps you should go to the doctor if it gets really bad.

I've had that. You have my sympathies! Don't mess around with that! Go to the doctor--you have an ear infection most likely, and it hurts because there's pressure from fluid in your ear. It's pressing on your ear drum, and can tear it, unless treated. They'll give you antibiotics at the doctor's. When it gets really bad, then it won't go away without antibiotics.

Drop a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in your ear while lying on your side with the affected ear facing up. When the bubbling stops, turn over and let it drain out.

nope, but i had a crazy painful ear ache a few years ago. The glands around my jaw and ear swelled up so much they tore my ear drum. If it hurts bucket loads, go see a doctor and get some drugs to reduce the inflamation etc

Not tonight....but, try putting some hydrogen peroxide in your ear (let it sit there for at least three minutes) and maybe it will help?

If it gets TERRIBLE or doesn't go away in two days, so see a regulary ENT doctor.

yeah i was a few days ago and it was into my sinus and was making a popping feeling. it sucks, sorry you feel that way

I used to get them ALL the time when I was younger, it was the most awful thing every. I wanted to bash my head into a wall and knock myself out so I didnt have to feel the pain lol. Make sure to say on your side a lot to let all the fluid drain out.

no but i have been , pour some peroxide in your ear and let it bubble , then drain it out, do it again , this will help you feel a lil better ,MAKE SURE THE PEROXIDE IS WARM , COLD WILL HURT MORE , also when you are finished with that put a capfull of warm olive oil in your ear , it might sound weird but i have done it and it soothes the worst earaches!

I've had an ear ache only once. It was an infection and absolutely miserable. I was advised by a nurse to take a damp wash cloth and wrap it in cellophane to prevent leaking. Lay down with the hurting ear up. Put the wrapped cloth on my ear and a heating pad over that. It helped enough for me to make it through the night and get a scrip for antibiotics following day. It seemed to work better to put my ear down on the heating contraption but that wasn't exactly following directions.

You may think I'm crazy but your own urine is suppose to cure an ear ache. You have to pee in a cup and then pour a little in your ear and stick a cotton ball in it.I thought it was crazy but my father in law tried it and he said it worked. It's an old folk remedy I guess they used before medicine was introduced.

I used to have terrible ear aches. I found a doctor who first treated my ear with antibiotics, and helped for future ear aches by telling me that when you wash your hair or swim or get water in your ears, the water softens the skin inside your ears.

This soft skin allows bacteria to enter into the skin, and after a while the skin dries and becomes normally hard again, but the bacteria which entered while it was wet are still inside.

The bacteria grow and this causes the terrible pain.

He said that whenever you get water inside your ears, you should carefully drop a few drops of alcohol in your ears.

Lean your head to one side, drop in the alcohol, let it stay 1 or 2 seconds, then lean to the other side, and with a tissue, dry the ear. Then the same to the other ear.

The alcohol has a drying effect on the skin inside the ear, and gets rid of the bacteria which enter the soft wet skin, by drying the skin inside the ear, and killing excess bacteria.
