What's a good cure for heartburn? What's a good cure for wheezing?!
Question: i also use baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) ( that's soda not powder,) the stuff people put in the fridge to get rid of Odors. IT'S A FOOD
costs about 50 cents a box at any supermarket.
1 teaspoon in a small glass of water.
quickly drink it down and be prepared to belch.
a treatment, not a cure.
i'm a fan of prilosec, but your supposed to take it everyday SO YOU WON'T GET HEARTBURN. it reduces the acid
output. i believe it reduces the amount of acid pumped to the stomach. good stuff though. i have a script for a generic called acifix. use it everyday. results are the same but you need a doctors script for it.

2 separate issues I will start with the most serious
Wheezing: wheezing is found in asthmatics,and those with other respiratory diseases,basically it is where the airway is obstructed(usually by mucous(therefore making the wheezing noise) it is serious and needs immediate attention.There are at home nebulizers-for breathing treatments,there are fast acting inhalers-albuterol types,and other things the hospital can administer like oxygen,steroid injections,etc. do not treat wheezing at home after inhaler has been used- go to the E.R.
Heartburn-caused by excess acid, usually has been an ongoing problem unless someone ate something that didn't agree with them.An over the counter antacid like mylanta or tums can work.For more heartburn prilosec otc works well.Should see a Doctor if it continues. There are no "CURES" for either one,only treatment of the symptoms.
I take Tums for my heartburn when I get it. It works for me even though my boyfriend says it does nothing for him. You might just have to try different things to see what works for ya.
