How can you tell if your nose is broken or damaged?!
Question: a few weeks ago at school i was hit in the nose by a basketball. now the bridge feels like it has a small ball-like lump in it. Is this normal? or could it be damaged?

If it has a lump that doesnt go away it is broken but there is nothing you can do to fix it other than surgery.
I went in for cosmetic surgery on my nose and once i got into surgery the doctor found that my nose had been broken twice and i didnt even know it.
Just put ice on it and if you are afraid it will look funny or be crooked you can take some 1/2"-3/4" sensitive skin sports tape and tape two pieces horizontially over the nose at night. But sometimes that can cause more harm. If it is just a little bump leave it alone.
Also bleeding is a good indicator it is broken. If it bled when you got hit in the nose it might be broken.

Im no doctor but once when i was in a fight i pushed this girl in the nose and i didnt really even hit her THAT hard but he nose wouldnt stop bleeding and really swallown really bad i bokre her nose opps Dought i helped but thanks for the 2 points
well...if your nose looks like owen wilson's then its definately broken, otherwise its close. if it doesnt look like owen wilson's there is no way to tell other than by getting an x-ray from your doc.
