I seem to have recurrant thrush?!

Question: How can i keep it away?

Answers: How can i keep it away?

Either you have the same thrush that is never completely clearing up or you are wearing fabrics or clothes that are causing it to come back. Make sure you use a good cream to eliminate the thrush (Caneston in the UK) and then avoid wearing synthetic fabrics or tights, which don't give you much air circulation where it counts! :-)

make sure your partner is treated too, you may be getting reinfected each time you have sex. :o)
try canestan oral and the cream to soothe.. hope this helps.

Drink cranberry juice - a glass a day. Also if you have a partner he needs to be treated to (men don't get symptoms) or he will keep reinfecting you.

Tough one I used to get it too, tablets and cream everytime I got it and thankfully not had it since. Canesten oral and cream duo think it was. :-)

Not sexually active, not sure that the duo cream and tablet wouldn't still work, have a read on their website, also suggest looking at other problems such a diet possibly, end of the day it's still an infection.

natural yogurt, works for me.

Do you take oral steroid inhalers for asthma, per chance? Like Flovent, or Beclovent, or something similar? Or a steroid pill of some sort? If you do take an inhaler, make sure you rinse your mouth out after each use. If you use any sort of steroid pills, ask your doctor if you can have some sort of systemic anti-fungal (pill, liquid), to fight off the thrush.

Eat as much yogurt as you can.

Can get some caneston cream, can also take diflucan 1 (a pill) you can buy it over the counter.
Its created from your hormones.

They do say not to use soap and bubble bath in that area if the prob persists see a GP

I'm glad to hear that you haven't been sexually active because thrush is a major symptom of AIDS. Are you sure that you have never given oral sex? You need to see a DR. about this problem. I would recommend an ears, nose, and throat doctor and ask the receptionist if he deals with thrush at all. You really must be seeing a doctor on a regular basis though. Good luck.

i know this sounds strange, but make sure you dry properly when you get out the shower, make sure you dont you perfumed products when cleaning yourself down there i.e normal shower gel, use femine products. also if you use pads insteed of tampons change them regually. also at nice try sleeping without underwear on so everything can breath abit.

have you been prescibed antibiotecs . as they can cause thrush

Use canestan cream, drink loads of cranberry juice and eat plenty of dairy products
It must be your diet. You must be lacking something. Go to see your doctor if it doesn't heal up

Canestan do a pessary that you insert inside you. That works very well.

You can also swallow a capsule that's supposed to clear it up - I think it's called Canestan Once. I've never tried it. The pessary always works for me, or I just squirt some cream up. You have to treat your vagina as well as your vulva.

Try some probiotic yoghurt drinks as well.

Go to the doctors again. You could be Diabetic
