Broken Ankle...?!

Question: About 2 months ago while playing football. I happened to tackle one of my friends the wrong way while playin football. He came out with a broken ankle and a unheard of fractured growth plate? Hes fine now and can walk but the doctor claims that his leg may have a chance of never growing again? Are they pullin crap out there butt or is this something more serious? If you have anything on growth plates that would be nice.

It's hard to say, it depends on how extensive the damage is on the growth plate. There's no sense stressing over it now, what's done is done. Only thing that can be done is to keep an eye over it and pray that the growth plate is okay.

i have got to tell u the truth man......................chances are very small.

How old is this kid? I mean it could happen. But what would make it more believable or worrysome is if the kid was young, like 13 or younger. Cause then they might actually have a little more growing to do. However, it is not very likely at all. I have broken my ankle 7 times and have had 3 surgerys. This all happened my senior year of playing football. The kid is just trying to mess with you a little, which you should just suck up and take...you did break his ankle.
