Is it easier to pull an all nighter or try and get 4 hours of sleep?!


Question: As i was trying to go to sleep i got pretty sick (I have GERDS and i had an attack not like throw up sick btw)
and now that i'm feeling better i am wondering if i should even try to go to sleep because i have to get up at 6:30 so i would only get 4 hours of sleep
or should i pull an all nighter and grab a couple of energy drinks in the morning?

if i only sleep for 4 hours will i be even more groggy than if i was running on the adrinaline you get from an all nighter?

ps i know that this is really bad for your health and all
i am usually a pretty healthy person
and i get my 8 hours of sleep every night
so please don't lecture me on how i need to do this or that
this couldn't be helped i got sick
and i also know that energy drinks are bad for you
but idc lol i still drink them :D
that is my one bad habit

Speaking as a person who worked graveyard shifts for years, it is better to get even a fifteen minute power nap than to avoid sleep entirely.

Even if you just lay down to rest and not sleep, you are all the better for it.

Nod off, dear...you will feel better and have more energy in the longrun.

all nighter and just get energy drinks =)

umm..depends.i can go three days starigh without sleep or energy drinks or coffee.But yea, wit only four hours, your gonna bo so groggy and the morning, ur gonna want more sleep.MIght as well pull the all nighter.Findsomehting to do for the next four hours,such as some work,or if ur young,do some homework,clean up your room,or read a book.something to keep u busy.

NO..TRY N GET SUM SLEEP. i DiD THAT FOR NEW YEARS..i HAD TO WORK ON JAN 1 AND i COULD HARDLY OPEN MY EYES..LOL.

Hard to get to sleep but sleep is better! a full stomach helps try a V-8 before sleep then couple aspirin when you wake! don't drink coffee right away drink water! to fill stomach then coffee one cup! and maybe bananna to eat ...
