Try yoga. It is totally relaxing and it really teaches you to let go of all the stuff that is going through your head. Also, try to sleep with minimal noise. If you sleep with a radio or tv, you will end up having a very disrupted sleep.

Have a routine every night so your body will know its time to sleep. Taking a shower 30 minutes before bed is a good idea too. Warm milk or tea can also be effective. Turn your thermostat down some, its easier to sleep while cold.

Do NOT drink alcohol like most people think. It may make you sleepy, but it interrupts your sleeping pattern once you do go to sleep.

Sure alittle henessy, brandy, vodka, and there u go u should be sleepin in no time lol, just kiddin take some green sleepy time tea knocks me right out.

lol okay this might sound silly but it works for me.
use incense like lavender candles or chamomile or something because they're like proven to calm, relax, and help you sleep...
if that doesn't work then sleeping pills?

Well this seems to work for me, I usually think about colorful rainbows, little elves, and pretty fairies. Every night I think about them singing me to sleep while dancing on clouds. It works wonders and I have great dreams afterwards.

Its a little gay I have to admit, but hey, as long as you keep it to yourself, no one will know the difference.

Your mind is supreme. Keep the thought in your mind that I am getting sound sleep. You are thinking negatively. Think positively and you will get the results.

Beat off...i sleep great after that.

Drink less caffine and sugary drinks and try to take deep breaths and (as hard as it is) clear your mind before sleep....

Maybe there is an issue in your life first that you need to make peace with, resolve or work out in your own mind before you can rest properly.....?

Hi. Please check out this page: www.emofree.com
It teaches you how to eliminate anxiety and pain (as well as lots of other problems) through a therapy called EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) which is based on a form of acupuncture which you can do to yourself without needles. You stimulate the energy points of the body to bring about release from whatever it is that is troubling you. It has a free manual you can download and learn how to do it yourself as well as lots of useful information.
In a matter of minutes you can bring about total relief.
I hope this helps and that you find a solution to your problem.
Wishing you all the best.
