Toenail???!
Question: A few months ago, I kicked my 2nd last toe on my right foot against the tiles around my shower, it bled a little, and I could see it had bent; not fully bent backwards, but a line through the middle of the nail. Today I noticed that 2/3 of the nail have come loose; the entire left side, and half or maybe all of the back of it (you know where that semicircle white part is) Underneath it looks ok, no bleeding.
Should I wait for it to fall of, or should I pull it off?
Secondly, how long will it take to grow back, if at all?
Will I need to keep it covered, and what with?

If it's getting caught in socks or other materials like blankets, I would gently pull it off. Only if it's hanging so loosely though. If it's not that loose, leave it alone.
After it's fallen off, if it does, it will take about 2-6 months to grow back.
Sometimes even when we think it's all gone, there is an underlayer. This happened to me a couple months ago. I thought my whole nail fell off, but in fact, the under layer was still there. Within a month, it was back to normal.
pull it off.it will hurt for a bit,then leave it.

Let it peel off by its self. It will be about a half a month to grow back. I kicked my drunk cousin the head and he was knocked out and my toe nail started peeling off. I let it peel and it came back in the middle of July. And my cousin kicked this kid at school his toe nail started peeling off aswell, I told him to let it peel off. But, He didn't listen and it took 2 months for it to grow back!!! So let it peel. And cover it with a few band-aids. That will make it come back faster. I think. See ya!!
