Chantix - Reviews?!
Question: Please let me know if you quit smoking with Chantix. I want to quit and was thinking about getting that from my doctor. I just want to hear if there are any success stories out there, and how bad you smoked.

I am quitting with Chantix now. I've smoked for almost 30 years, about a pack a day. I've been on the drug 6 days now and can't finish a cigarette. I'm down to 1/2 one every 3 or 4 hours at most.
I used Chantix before a couple of months ago and it worked great then. I was a non-smoker after about 3 weeks. Unfortunately I quit taking the pills after 4 weeks because I thought I could do it on my own. This time I'll stick to the program for the full 3 months. My insurance does cover the drug, so it only costs me $20 a month.
I've never talked to anyone who stayed on the drug and didn't quit smoking.
Just be aware that for some people the nausea is intense. I've found that you really do have to drink at least 8 oz of water and take the pill after eating.

yes, and i know several people that it has helped out too. there are some side effects you want to discuss with your doctor along with most insurances do not pick it up and it costs around 150 per month for about 3 months
this product seems to work on most eveyone. I've heard a guy that smoked for 30 years and was smoking two packs a day was able to quit in seven days, my son ( 28 ) was smoking almost that much for over ten years and quit in less than 10 days. I have not met anyone that actually stayed on the Chantix more than three weeks because it worked so well. the initial prescription cost for my son was $120.23 for the first month supply.
