Spine and neck pain near shoulders please help someone...............?!
Question: Hi, my spine part near my neck is killing and my right shoulder too, i woke up this morining with this pain. ive had it massaged but no cure ive even to profene, paracetemol and pain killers but still no luck can someone please help urgently
p.s i dont smoke or drink, i just went to bed last night as usual and woke up this morining with this pain, anyone know a cure to fix it as i cant even move my head i have to move my whole body :( please help thanks

Don't do anything you your self coz this may worsen the problem & not based on medical background.
Don't do whatever others tell caz later they will get out of it & uwill be the only one suffering...
Just see a Physical Therapist as soon as possible (even in the nearest public hospital or center).
Remember, this is the right person to tell u if u need ice or heat to be applied, proper treatment or cream or whatever, & what to do at home based on medical knowledge!!
Trust me with this, pain will be gone & movement will be normal without any side effects shortly:)
Don't worry it is not dangerous but, don't worsen it.
There is no nerve problem other wise, u will have adeformity or disability & loss of motion totally....
U just have neck stiffness which is so easy to deal with.

You may have pulled a muscle in your sleep, or slept awkwardly so have trapped some nerves. Can you get to a doctor, or better get an appointment with a chiropractor?
If it was me I'd try voltarol cream which is what I use for neck pain. It's an anti inflammatory, but also works on 'nerve pain'. I'd also try veganin pain killers or something that's good for neuralgia type pain, but please make certain you don't exceed the dosage of any pain killers
You may have a muscle spasm in your neck that has possibly led to a trapped nerve. Massage the area affected as firmly as you can stand. Keep moving your head and neck if you are able to. Try an anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen. See your doctor and ask about muscle relaxants such as Diclofenac or low dose Valium.
I've been there and it is agony.
Look up "wry neck" on WebMd for treatment advice. This will usually go away after 2-3 days but heat, ice, pain medications on a regular basis will help some.
you've trapped a nerve - get yourself an appointment with a chiropractor to get it fixed, or with an acunpuncturist to manage the pain. If you don't get this treated then you will have pain for about two or three days but it will get easier and you will be back to normal.
Religious course of Doans and heated massager. Continue for up to seven days. I had that a few times before. Works every time.
You have most likely pulled a muscle.
Chiropractic exercise is good - sit up straight lift your head back as far as you can lean your head to one side as far as you can and very slowly turn your head in a circular motion one way round to the left and then the other way round to the right repeat this for around 4 times each way - ok done - feeling better ?!
