Is this is Pure Green Tea ?!
Question: Recently i bought a packet of green tea quite expensive. but the colour of the tea isnt green colour it more look like chinese tea. Am i get the wrong green tea? But the labell written there is 'green tea'.

If it says it's green tea, it's green tea. My green tea is a light golden color with a very faint green tinge. It all depends on brand and strength, just like black tea isn't really black, it's the type of tea, not really color related. Or so this is my perception. I've used both Lipton's green tea with other things like peach, as well as bought it from a health food store, they are about the same. Except for the flavor of peach that is...straight green tea is good too, and I drink at least three cups a day for the cancer inhibiting antitoxidents.

So grren tea is very dark, others are lighter, the weaker is the lighter and so on....its green tea, u can tell by the flavor, it doesn't taste like black tea.
Green Tea was originated and China and is made solely with the leaves of Camellia sinensis, which are green. Unfortunately the term green tea has been misinterpreted with China tea which has a huge variety of teas. So you were a victim of advertising where you were sold chinese tea under the name of green tea. I hope this helps to answer your question.
