What's wrong with my earlobe?!

Question: ok this is extremely nasty but there's a ball inside my earlobe.....it hurts if a press it. It's like a pimple inside the earlobe :| It's stuck in one spot and doesn't move around. I can't obviously pop it because it would be no different then stabbing myself. It's worse then gtting your ear pierced. What can it be?

It is most likely a sebaceous cyst. If it bothers you a lot, you can go to a doctor to have it removed

sounds like a cyst

Do you have pierced ears? Have you worn cheap ear-rings recently ?

OR maybe it's a form of gout ... :
"Gout can also appear in an ear, heel of the hand, small hand joints, ankles, knees, elbows, or wrists with inflammation, swelling and intense pain from the buildup of uric acid crystals. Uric acid is the end product of the metabolism of a class of chemicals known as purines"

OR have you been sunburnt on your ears before ..

Best to go see a Doctor

I've had those before. Just don't touch it for a few weeks and it will go away. However, if it begins to get bigger then maybe you should see a doctor.

is it only present when you press up under it? if so dont worry, i had one too and it just went away. but if it grows, it could be a number of things, like a cyst, hair ingrowth, bruise , and the list just keeps going, but the worst it can be is a tumor

Probably a cyst..

You could get it removed, but i think there is a risk of your ear shrinking after having it removed
