Doctors? I need to pee all the time?!

Question: Hi I am a generally healthy 24 yo woman. For around the last 6 months Ive needed to go to the bathroom every hour and a half or so, Its been getting up during the night to go, and all my friends and family have noticed. Theres no pain or any other abnormalitys.
I do get heaps worse if I drink alcohol, need to go every 20 mins, and theres no strain I just need to go. Ive tryed holding it but it becomes almost painful after around 2 hours.
Also im really sensertive to caffine, strong coffee really upsets my stomake and can be painful. Also any lactos products. As a kid I used to drink heaps of milk, but now it gives me heaps of greif. My little sister has acute chones disease, but I was told its not hereditary? Worryed I turning a blind eye for to long. I will go see a doctor but was just hoping to hear any suggestions?

Frequent and urgent urination are classic signs of a urinary tract infection. Since inflammation reduces the bladder's capacity to hold urine, even small amounts of urine cause discomfort. Even if you have an infection there may be no pain.

Diabetes: When excess blood sugar is excreted into urine, it draws water from the body's tissues, increasing the need to urinate.

Kidney disease: Diseases that cause kidney decline may affect the kidneys' ability to concentrate urine, increasing the amount of urine produced.

Other causes include: Interstitial cystitis (an ongoing inflammation of the bladder that is much more common in women than men; often difficult to diagnose and treat), taking medications

And, less commonly: Radiation therapy, Bladder dysfunction, & Bladder cancer

Common causes of nighttime urination:

Drinking too much before bedtime, especially caffeine or alcohol

sound like a bladder infection.go to your doctor and get it treated before it gets worse.

maybe overactive bladder syndrome

Could be diabetes or you may be lactose intolerant or hae that thing your sister has. May even be IBS(irritative bowel syndreome) or could be nothing! See your doctor and a dietician.

Please go to a doctor. Are you drinking enough water? Have you tried cranberry juice? Asparagus will clean out your urinary track in one serving... These are some ideas until you get in to a doctor... This doesn't sound good.

Sounds as if you have a urinary tract problem or a bladder weakness that need to be sorted out.

cyctitis. There is too much acid in your wee...you need to drink lots of water. loads and loads. you might have infection too so might need a urine test. also, because your urine is soo acidic, it tickles the lining, making you go alot more. Do you have diabetes? get that checked too in urine test. Cranberyy juice is good for cystitis. Im not sure of the spelling but google it to find out more.

You should be evaluated by a urogynecologist. Yes there is such a thing.

peeing a lot - sounds like diabetes.

could be anything. could be a UTI, over active bladder, diabetes. but i think in your case..you are drinking products/chemicals that are diuretics..they increase urinary output. try drinking water only..no caffiene at all. and see if that helps. but i doubt its a UTI..they are usually pretty painful.

Seems like diabeties to me but you need to go and see a GP.

We CANNOT diagnose you on here as we cant see you, we cant perform any blood or urine tests on you.

GO AND SEE A GP

Look at Sherri's answer, she gave you all the possibilities. Now go see your doc sooner than later.
