Question: Im getting my belly button pierced AGAIN because the first time it was crooked; so anyway, it hurt so much the first time that i dont know if i could go through with it again now knowing how much it hurts. So what im asking is if anyone can give me some remedies or something like that which would numb the pain.

First of all, I have a question for you dear? Has your belly-button healed completedly . If not, you are in danger of getting a very bad infection and will have to have it removed and treated with oral and skin antibiotics. Unfortunately some people are not built to have a belly-button piercing. Be extremely cautious of who does the piercing for sterile equipment. There are so many diseases passed on by using dirty equipment. Be VERY SURE. Hepatitis and HIV are among the worst, not to mention a disorder called MRSR which prevents your immune system to fight off infection. Your thinking is correct. I would suggest that you not attempt another belly piercing. The only thing that I am aware of as far as numbing the pain would be to hold ice on the area until it is numb. Do not allow anyone to inject your body with anything unless it is your primary care doctor. Take no medication either. It could be very dangerous. If you do get the piercing be certain that you keep the area clean with alcohol and be certain to turn it or move it in a circle every day. If it gets red, difficult to turn,or oozes any fluid, to have it removed promptly. Also see a doctor for treatment for infection
