My throat is killing me?!

Question: what could i be getting...
i wake up and i try to swallow but it hurts too bad.

(you know, those miserable nights where you only want to sleep but you wake up in a huge drool puddle and can barely swallow)

and my nose has been going in and out of stuffyness throughout the day..
i usually dont sneeze and i have a couple times today..

am i coming down with something? can i prevent it from getting worse? any advice?

dang..i had that to me too!

just take a warm shower, stay in bed, take medicine, try drinking orange juice or lemenade(no ice),stay away from coldness, when you walk on tile or cold floors..make sure your not bare footed.

do all of that and you will get better the next day.
-have a wonderful day

probably just that you are getting allergies, you are allergic to something, having an allergic reaction, you may have swelling, or you may have strapthroat.

Happens to me every year - and have it right now.

Gargle with salt water (supposedly it kills the germs)

Soothe it by:
-drinking ginger ale
-drinking hot tea
-having chicken noodle soup - I choose to just drink the broth
-getting some cough drops

Before I go to bed I take about 1/4 of the normal dosage of the green nighttime cough medicine - this usually limits how much it hurts and makes it clear up faster.
