Does Neurotin work for anyone with nerve damage? I've heard good and bad abo!

At 48, I have advanced osteoarthritis and carpel tunnel syndrome. On my right hand, four of my fingers 'buzzed' from nerve damage caused by carpel tunnel. I took Neurontin for about a year and it calmed the tingling, buzzing feeling quite a bit for me. If you are thinking about taking the drug, I hope it works for you too.
