Ankle pain?!

i hit it pretty hard on the corner of the bed when i was running, the pain is worse then when i sprained my ankle and needed physical theraphy.
its swollen, and the pain spread up my leg, what could i have done?

I would say....go get some x-rays...you could have broken a bone as there are lots of small bones in the ankle. Good Luck!
