Anybody know any tricks to make a cold sore go away faster?!
Question: I am getting another cold sore and It seems like I am getting them more often then usual. my doctor precribed my some topical medication and it doesent make any diffrence on how long I have them for. N E body know any tricks to make them dissapear faster?

I had one 2 weeks ago..i got this pain reliver antiseptic gel..at a drug store where all the chapsticks are located..it's called "Campho-Phenique" in a little yellow tube..it worked for me it dried it up and i didn't feel that annoying feeling of a cold sore..but you should also try to boost your immune system by eating healthy and drinking orange juice it helps.
Put some rubbing alcohol on it as many times a day as you can. You can dab it on with a Q-Tip, or put some in the cap and hold it over the cold sore. It will dry up faster than you can believe. Keep your hands away from your lips to prevent them. :0)
