Ok .

I get them all the time .

And my dad told me this :

you just get a hot cup of water and add a lot of salt to it and mix it together .. then you gargle the warm salt water in your throat :) don't swallow . just spit it out

It works all the time, it may not cure the sore throat but it will keep it away for a long time .

Good Night . & hope it helps !

got any money, go buy yourself a packet of lockets, halls or some medicine. It should work!

if its in the middle of your throat salt water if it is at the sides see your doctor.

oh dear have you got anything thick like milk that will coat your throat until you get to sleep? or even fish - something oily or thick will do it... Good night x

make a hot tea with no sugar but honey ?nstead but! b4 you drink it squ?ze as much lemon into your mouth as you can. you can feel it burning but it feels so good then have a table spoon of honey on its own to sooth it . after all that drink your tea and b4 you know it you will want to sleep so you can do it again in the morning

lol im serious its a sick littel trick i worked out over time. it works real good

good luck

Take 4 tylenol every 4 hours, that is how I do it until I can get to the store.

Honey and lemon in warm to hot water With a dash of scotch or brandy works a treat and the alcohol will help you to go to sleep.

If you have any alcoholic beverages, gargle with them. The stronger the better. Strong as whiskey or gin or vodka, etc. Do it for at least 30 seconds. Another thing you might try, drink some hot tea.

Lucky you i get sick very easily due to a weakened immune system im not going to get into that but umm yes i get those lots around this time but umm ok if you like using natural home remedies than squeeze a lemon into a teaspoon or two of salt into warm water and gargle, or mix a lemon with honey and take spoons of that. Oh and dont step on anything cold like the floor and dont try to make yourself sick at all i stepped on something cold and it got so bad the back of my throat was like an infected color and hurt really bad i didnt even want to talk! Oh and you can drink cold stuff if you want but it will soothe it but i wouldnt because if its turning into a cold it will worsen the cold and screw you over. It should convert into a cold eventually and it should be gone in 3-5days usually but its possible sooner if you have a good immune system and when it turns into the cold dont drink anything cold and dont wet your hair or go outside really withthis cold weather and dont step on anything cold because it can turn into something worse if you accidentally do something or purposely do something to worsen yourself.. Take care Take care hopefully it helps (my advice)

I can't help remembering my worst sore throat. I was prescribed antibiotics which, after a week or so, cleared it up but, after a few days, it reapearred. I saw the doctor again and was prescribed the same thing.
I gargled some whisky. Yes - it hurt - but it hurt the infection more than it hurt me. That sore throat was very short lived.
