I had a ganglion,i had 1 answer lastn. please more answers?!

Question: i had a ganglion?(im pretty sure thats what it was) for about 1 1/2 months, i went to the school nurse and she told me what it was and that it was harmless unless it started hurting. that i should go to the dr. just to make sure it wasnt anything serious and this was about 3 weeks after i noticed it..my mom was gonna take me to the dr. but she wanted to wait till the christmas vacation so i didnt miss school. she didnt take me though but i noticed this past week it was going away it didnt take very long for it to also..but my question is what are the chances it comes back? because i know there is a sac or something in my skin that held the liquid and if it went away by itself then the sac must still be there right? so what are the chances it comes back?

heres a link to a picture i found on the internet to show where i had it (tell me if link dont work)

Depends on the nature causing it to appear in the first place, your chances of it coming & going are good. Doctors don't normally remove them -I'd certainly ask for some of the fluid to be withdrawn & tested to confirm the diagnosis- Never 2nd guess a growth of any kind Make sure. If it is really bothersome to you they will remove- it still may come back!

go see ya doc .
