You need to see your doctor & tell him.her what you're going through & how it affects you while at work. He may have some tests run on you, order bloodwork, etc. If he can't find out what is causing your pain, he may refer you to another doctor, perhaps a specialist. Once a diagnosis has been made, & you are deemed unable to work, you can approach your employer with the doctor's diagnosis & his prognosis for future employment. You may have to take a medical leave thus entitling you to collect short term disability, then when that runs out, you may collect long term disability for the duration. You can also think about applying for SS Disability once your long term disability runs out. It may come to a point when you will be contacted via your employer that you have to apply for SS Disability. In some cases, such as MetLife, if you don't try to get SS Disability, you'll lose your longterm disability. If you do end up collecting the short term & long term disabilty, make sure you are getting the right percentage of your disability. Check with your employer on that, if you have to take a leave, need surgery, etc.

Good luck getting on long term disability just because you feel achy all the time. I am truly disabled but since I can still technically work, they refuse to let me on disability.

18 ibuprofen?? Right.

Good luck getting disability because you feel "achy" all the time. They require an actual diagnosis, you know, they just can't take your word for it.

Get a different job. Change your diet, work out. You may feel a heck of a lot better.
