I dont have mine pierced but I imagine a needle would hurt like hell
its better n safer if u get it wit a gun n it will only hurt for less than 5 seconds, with a needle u run the chance of piercing ur ears crooked and getting an infection.
The infected after effects might. A friend had a nice big lump that had to be surgically removed because of an infection that came about from a cheap earring her friend gave to her.
