Hi, no it is not a egg bursting, Our ovaries get cysts on them that can grow or reduce in size and on occasion burst. I had one to do that when I was 18 years old. How low on your side it it? Is it in the middle or more to the side? could it be maybe more centered, and be your bladder? are you having trouble urinating? Is it time for your period? Our bodies are actually born with all the eggs we will ever have, one released each month until menopause, but there are always things to go wrong. usually BC pills help keep cysts from occurring and/ or keep them smaller. If it is not a cysts or you bladder it could be your urethra, cervix, or uterus, so going to a gyn or a PC doctor even for just a UA and or a pelvic exam would be an excellent idea. Has this ever happened before? Also a big point needed is which side! Could be an appendix if it off of centered and up a tab bit higher. I would say see a doctor, don't wait three weeks, you may need antibiotics or some other type of medications. Take it seriously. Be careful! Tash

kidney dog. doctor dude

it could be alot of things id see your dr

why are you posting questions on here??GET TO THE DOCTOR FOR GOODNESS SAKE DUHHH

It's more likely a cyst bursting.... I had that once, and it was very painful... so painful that I broke out in a sweat and felt nauseous and faint and went to the emergency room... The pain subsided on its own and the doc told me it was probably a cyst that had burst.

Definitely see a doc if it happens often!

GO TO THE HOSPITAL...

yo hommy call ur doc

Go to the ER, it could potentially be your appendix and that can kill you!

If the pain is getting that bad either call your doctor or go to the local ER and get it checked !!
Don't wait much longer...it seems like something that needs to be addressed by a doctor other than yahoo

Hope this was helpful~~~~~~

I have found a link about painful ovulation which I think you should read.
If you continue to have this discomfort each month you should consider taking the pill to avoid it.
