I got mine pierced what hurt was when they clamped it. then i really didn;t feel the needle go through. My tongue was swollen for about three days and was hard to eat but i took advil around the clock for swelling and then i was fine. i had to take mine out but am totally going to do it again.

You know, I had a few friends who had bad experiences with tongue piercings. . .one guy, his tongue swelled up and he couldn't talk for a few days, he said it was very painful.

Another friend got her tongue pierced, all went well, lots of pain BUT her tongue moved around a lot when she slept, and she damaged her teeth.

I have a few piercings, and would never personally get my tongue done, just for those two reasons.

They say that the mouth heals quickly though. . .

it hurts very much. you know your parents better than anyone.

coming from someone that has had a tongue piercing.... The only thing that hurt me is when they took the clamp and squeeze it onto my tongue. The needle hurt less than when you bite your tongue. My tongue did swell a little, but I ate lots of ice and tried to talk normal and that will bring it down faster. Good luck

while i have never pierced anything other than my ears.YES it does hurt when you get your tongue pierced. I have a couple of friends who have gotten their tongue pierced and they all said it hurts alot. One of my friends for about three weeks her tongue was so swollen that you could barely understand her when she was talking she had trouble eating and she constantly drooled. So i really wouldnt advise getting your tongue pierced, but each person is different in how they feel and heal.So if you really really want to get your tongue pierced go ahead and try it just keep your mouth very very clean while the piercing is healing.Good luck in making your decision and good luck bringing up the subject to your parents.

haha wow your such a loser. do it. get into trouble....i dare you...
