My new mattress makes me wake up aching, will I eventually get used to it?!

Question: I've had the new mattress for just over a week now, it's a soft mattress, not too firm but has just the right amount of cushion. But I wake up with headaches and my back aching every morning. Will I eventually get used to it??

Box springs Take 3 weeks at least to break in Flip every Month.

I bought a mattress a few months ago....I am really just now sleeping better. So yes it may take some time....

Good luck!

No. Return it before you can't. Most stores have a 10 day comfort exchange program...

I hate to say it, but this is one of those things 'you get what you pay for'.

I've had at least five mattresses in my lifetime and the only one that didn't give me a back ache was the one I have now, the most expensive one I've ever owned. I still, very rarely, get a back ache but hardly ever since I got one of those temperpedic pillows -- I good one will cost you $30 - $60, but it's well worth it.

Also, maybe it's just not firm enough. If you have time to make an exchange, maybe you should consider it.

Good luck!

You may get used to it, but obviously it is not the right mattress for you.
You more than likely won't get used to it.
I bought a mattress that didn't work for me and the place where I purchased it let me exchange it.
I would at least call (quickly) and see if that is an option for you.
Talk to them about the problems that you wake up with, and they may have a suggestion for you. It sounds like you need a little firmer mattress.

Good Luck

Our back problems have improved with a "softer" pillow top, after having a firm mattress for years. Give it a chance. The problem might be your pillow, as for the headaches.
