You have waited too long now. They will not put stitches in. Take some tape and butterfly stitch (tape) the cut closed. After you have it taped shut, place an ice pack over it with pressure. This will stop the wound from oozing blood. After it no longer is oozing, place some antibiotic ointment over the area (leave the tape in place) and a clean bandaid or dressing. Leave the tape on for at least 3 to 4 days.

It sounds like you really need stitches especially if it's around a knuckle area where it will continually open on it's own.

I don't think they would put you to sleep, usually they numb the area. However, if it is a serious injury and you make it clear you refuse medical treatment unless you're put to sleep they may do it. However, if they do it, they'll more than likely still want to do it intraveinously. To be honest, I don't think a finger injury would be suitable for being put to sleep.

I concur. It could take forever to heal. Probably have to go to ER
