How and why does emotional pain manifest into physical pain or sensations?!
Question: My friend was murdered 2 years ago ago everytime I think about him I get a burning ache in my back and my chest.
How is it that emotional grief can become physical pain? What makes it hurt in the spot where your heart is when your heart isn't an "emotional" organ?

Grief can destroy you. You feel anger and hate towards the bad guy. You feel an overwhelming sense of loss for your friend. These are POWERFUL emotions. They must be addressed, or they will consume you. Reach out for help. Grief counseling is a great start. Don't be embarrassed. Don't be afraid. You MUST free yourself from the devestating emotions you feel soon. Make a phone call. It's ok to tell someone you are hurting. That's why they are there.
