What is the best way of getting rid of sunburn?!

Question: Today I was mildly burnt by the sun on my face. I'm not extremely red and it isn't very hot or painful, but would like the redness to go away as soon as possible. Are there any ways of speeding up the process of my skin returning to it's natural colour?

Keep yourself moisturised from the inside and the outside. Lots of water and lots of moisturiser or aloe. I know you don't wannna hear it but the old 'prevention is better than cure' thing rings true for sunburn.....in saying that I feel your pain!

Aloe...keep your skin moisturized...

Aloe Vera cream

apply aloe vera gel and stay in the shade.

Soda water.

Honest to god im very fair and when i get sunburnt it hurts. A little soda water takes the pain away and the redness. It sounds crazy but it truly does work no matter how mild or bad it is.

Give it ago Soda water is like what $2 max.

The colder the better.

stay out of the sun for a few days. or you could try vinegar, dabbed on your face.

aloe vera is the best
cools the skin straight away
if u can get urself a real plant is even better

Ask a cream for sunburn in the pharmacy try to go to you doctor.

SORRY BUT NO!!!!!!!!!, keep it lotioned down, aloe is great for sunburn,,,,, might keep it from peeling and tanning instead.,,,,,,,GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

Only Britain made Aloe Vera cream has been found to be useful.

I agree with everyone else. Aloe is the best for relieving sunburn. Sometimes you can find it with Lanocane added. Lanocane lightly numbs the skin thereby taking away some of the sting.

To get the red out, try putting just a little bit of body lotion with pigment on your skin. You know, the kind that has self tanner in it- like Jergens or Dove. I've used that before when I wanted the red to even out. Just a little, though. You don't want to end up with brown blotches where the red used to be.
