How do I sleep better?!

Question: I've tried going to sleep early and I get more sleep but it's less peaceful. I wake up really easy and my boyfriend snores and I'm always getting up at least once to pee. I work out during the day too adn am really ready to sleep when it's time but I never sleep all the way through the night. I wake up and go back to sleep at least 3-7 times per night. Usually one of those is a moment where I'm really awake. That's even when i don't drink before sleeping. Any suggestions?

hi,
good morning sunshine!
It sound like you have a lot of unsolved things going on in your life , if this is true, then your mind (which never sleeps) is trying to solve alot of these things that have been racing thru your mind during your awake hours, while you are trying to sleep. Even though working out will make you physically tired it will not help with your mental issues..alot of people dive into excercise and work harder and clean house and jog and sometimes shop till they drop ,to over come there unsovlved problems...it does nothing in the long run and when they go to sleep then their mind has the freedom it has been denied during the day to try sovle them problems. If you have alot going on in your life right now this could be whats happing.what you need to do(once again my opinion) is give yourself some quiet time away from everything that is causing this massive stack over flow in your mind..take afew days off..go somewhere peaceful where you can think things out, let your mind do what it's designed to do..you have a very good head on your shoulders, give it room to menuver (sp) and trust it , it won't lie to you,it's the better part of you.Breath! Honey
Breeeeeeath! Good luck terribl
p.s. medication is not the answer, it only covers it up it will not solve the problem.

how old are you? you may have a sleep disorder. if it keeps up you may want to talk to the MD about it. Try some tylenol Pm, and there's a natural remedy called Valerian. Check it out.

Try taking a trip to the store and finding body washes and lotions you could use during and after a warm shower.
I got this really nice gift from my family, it's this sleeping body wash and body lotion. I use it at night before I got to bed. I end up sleeping real good through the night. So try finding that in stores and use it at home. If it still takes a couple of minutes to fall asleep, watch a movie. You'll fall asleep during it while your body is trying to relax itself. If you can't find the stuff at the stores. I have a site you can look at and order from.

You can take Melatonin [[love it!]] or Valerian. They are both really good for a nice nights sleep!
