My hand warmer stopped working!?!

Question: It is the reusable kind. Anyways, I just got it and it worked. After, I put it in the pot and followed the directions for boiling it. It doesn't say a time on how long I should boil it like my other ones. I have another one from the same company and used it the same time as this one. It works fine. Can someone tell me how to make this work again. And yeah, I know how a hand warmer works. I have like 7. Anyways, when I activate it with the metal circle thing, it doesn't work. I tried to do it multiple times. I even pushed the button a lot of times. First I did 2x but it didn't work so I continuously pushed it. It didn't work and just made my fingers hurt. How do I fix this?

It might be worn out. They do have a lifespan and can get to the point where there is not enough chemical to make the necessary reaction for warmth.

It also could be defective.

Try it once more. If it still doesn't work, toss it and use another one.

EMT

i can think of several ways to keep your hands warm ;-)

If you just got it, can't you exchange it for another one that works? -LL Good luck.

If you have 7, use another one. I have no idea what a hand warmer is anyway. It doesn't even sound familiar.

go buy a new one

you should be able to exchange at the store it was purchased from. otherwise you can try to re boil it, leaving it in the boiling water for 20 mins then leave on the stove in the water to cool down.
this happened to me once and this worked but good luck.
