It doesn't mean anything! Some people have deep veins, rolling veins, tiny, or just won't hold up to a needle stick. The hand is more sensitive because there are a lot of nerve endings but they are more superficial and sometimes the only option for blood testing.

It's different for everyone. If they can't find a vein that is noticeable in your arm they will get it elsewhere. There's nothing wrong with you.

It doesn't mean anything, some people's veins are smaller than others and other people have deep veins. I have that trouble with finding my veins too, so its good to remember the spot where they usually find it, so you don't get stuck too many times.

sometimes they cant get the one in your arm to pop up...and they take it from the hand..could mean the person doing it didnt know what they were doing as they had to stick you three times

It doesn't mean anything. Just that the most prominent vein you have is in your hand. Or the person drawing the blood was not too good at it.

My mom is a nurse and has told me many times about how it's hard to find the veins in peoples' arms. Don't sweat it. It's normal. One think you can do if you have to get blood drawn again is DRINK LOTS OF WATER before hand. This will make your veins more plump, which will cause less pricking and prodding on your arms.
