This may seem a little off the wall, but I've treated many women for menstrual cramps, including all my female coworkers everywhere I've worked, with normal low back chiropractic care and it works great!
It releases stress and spasms in the stomach muscles and uterus just like it relieves spasms and pain in other muscles. You can to find a good one - use your insurance website or blue cross/blue shield because they are highly screened. It almost always works and basically permanently greatly decreases menstrual pain after 8-12 treatments, with maybe some follow up now and then.

Birth control pills help
Dont drink caffeine 1 week before
Drink a lot of water.

I used to have this problem. I would miss school all the time. I got on birth control and it helps a lot. I still have cramps, but not near as bad. Maybe try to do that... Definetly make an appt. with your gynocologist to see what they can tell you. I also used heating pads and medicine.. but I know of nothing else...

Sounds like you should be tested for PID- pelvic inflammatory disease. It is NOT a sexually transmitted disaease, just an inflammation of your uterine lining that happens each month. It is very common, and can be treated without much difficulty. DON"T go on birth control for this, the pill is very bad for you. See an good Gynecologist soon!
