I am a teen, help me quit smoking!?!
Question: I am a teen, I smoke. I already know that I want to quit, the college I am going to is smoke free, which is the perfect oppourtunity, and reason to quit. I know I can quit if I stay away from smokers for awhile, does anybody have any other tips, or websites for teens trying to quit? Also, both of my parents smoke, and I know that smelling it will only make my cravings worse, does anybody have any ideas? I know I should talk to them, but it would be easier (and less stressful) not to talk to them about it. I am in school all day, so I only have to worry about smoking after school hours. Thanks!

Good for you!! I'm very proud that you've decided to quit smoking!
Here is a website I found with lots of help links:

Smoking can be an oral fixation, so when you feel the need to light up, chew on a pencil, carrot sticks or celery sticks. Quitting smoking can also make you feel as though you want to eat when you have a craving, causing you to gain weight, instead of eating, try going out for a walk.
hope this helps!! Good Luck!!!
