I have such pain that started in my neck?!
Question: now it's traveled into my arm (right) wrist now thumb. The vein right above my innerside wrist bone and thumb is very pronounced for the past few days. I do smoke alot. I'm very thin and I hurt allover. Could this be arthritis or fibromyalgia? The pain feels like a toothache at times . PLEASE HELP? :*(

Right no it doesn't sound like arthritis or fibromyalgia....What i am nearly convinced that it is though is a trapped nerve!When this happens it is extremely extremely painful!This has happened my mother to the point that she wasnt able to walk,she's 53 and the pain when down her back and down her left leg...!However by going to the doctor this problem could probably be easliy leviated!So I home you get it checked out by your doctor soon!!
Fibromyalgia generally causes wandering pain and stiffness, which you may also have.
Radiating pain that stays localized is more related to lower neck (cervical) problems, such as nerve compression. It doesn't sound like a hernia, but a fixated/blocked/subluxated vertabrae (all words are valid).
I've treated many people with this problem and usually have very good results with 8-12 treatments. Get a Doctor from your insurance website or Blue Cross/Blue Shield, they are highly screened, and prices should be $30-$40 per treatment (rather than $300 per pop you can pay at physical therapists).
