Help with "first dorsal compartenal release" surgery I'm about to !

Question: I want to know a placer where I can get as much information about this procedure as possible. I am about have it done coming up in Feb and would like to know more about it, especially any side effects or thigns that might could go wrong during or after surgery. I looked at WebMD, and the only thing that I could find about it is stuff about carpal tunnel, which from what I understand is not what I have.

Any help would be really appreciated.

It is De Quervains or tenosynovitis...basically the sheath around your first tendon,,going to your thumb is inflammed. They will release or cut the sheath open so the tendon can move more freely..you will have a tiny little scar about 3 cm
