Looking for some opinions...?!

Question: During the last three weeks I have had a kind of sharp pain in my stomach area which lasted for about 5 - 10 minutes then it disappeared. At the same time my face started to go red and felt really tight. I felt like I had nausea and I lost my appetite. I felt like lying down for ages and I felt very weak afterwards. I had a dump but the pain didn't go away and I drank plenty of water thinking it could have been heartburn but no joy. It also hurt when I was walking as well and I kept wanting to stop but it also hurt to just stand up. This was a few hours ago and I have had these symptoms about every 3 days. Today the pain lasted for about 15 - 20 minutes.
I feel fine now but ithe pain will come again at some point. Could this be something to do with my appendix?
I will go to see the doctor but I would like a few extra opinions.

First i would say it is most likely not your appendix as that kind of pain is usually pretty constant, and doesnt come and go. Its hard to say what it could be without knowing exactly which part of your stomach hurts. Your actual stomach is on your upper left side, behind and slightly below your rib cage. Your appendix is on your lower right side. Your gallbladder (a potential cause of pain) is on your upper right side. Do you move your bowels everytime you start to feel this pain? If so, it could be an issue with your large bowel. Does the pain occur shortly after eating a high fat meal? (gallbladder). Have you noticed a change in your stool or bowel habits, change in your overall appetite? These are some things your doctor may ask you. Below is a website that may help:

It could possibly be mono. But DEFINETLY go to your doctor, something's wrong and needs to be checked out. It could be serious.

It sounds like your getting an ulcer. I would guess that's it. maybe a peptic ulcer. The doctor will give you upper GI's to find out.

Try using Metamucil twice a day, stay on a bland diet and, try not to eat anything that would create problems, like hot foods, sometimes gravies and pepper, things like that. Drink a glass of milk the next time this happens to see what it does, it should help.

Actually it could be upper GI (stomach/intestinal), gall bladder or even heart problems.
The only way to be definite is to seek medical advice. Testing will be needed for an accurate diagnosis.
The symptoms that concern me the most are your complaints of facial flushing, tightness and extreme fatigue/weakness.
See a doctor!
