The best way to get rid of a headach is................?!

Question: Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

Drink water... most headaches are caused by dehydration and usually the water you drank with the pain reliever is more helpful than the pain-reliever.. good luck.

One vicodin (regular strength 5/500), two naproxens, and 1 excedrin migraine. It works and none of the medicines interact with one another negatively. The vicodin has 500mg of acetaminophen and 5mg of hydrocodone. The excedrin also has acetaminophen, but as long as you only take one, you are only taking a TOTAL of 1,000 mg, which is not over the recommended single dosage. The excedrin also contains aspirin and caffeine. The naproxen contains naproxen sodium, which is in a drug class called nsaids (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). Good luck.

come away from computers laptops or anything with bright light get two pain killers swollow with water. then go and lay down on your bed with the light off.. works instaintly with me :-)

I often get relieve simply drinking a coco cola as it has caffeine and sugar. If that does not do the job I take Excedrin. I seem to need the caffeine to cure a headache. When a migraine hits only warm compressed and some rest seem to help me.

Have some coffee, or something with caffeine. That helps me when I have a headache. Also, take a painkiller like Advil.

I don't suggest you take narcotics as one poster had mentioned. But you have many more less addictive options such as taking an NSAID and drinking tons of water. Dehydration is a cause of headaches as mentioned above and staying hydrated will help gaurd against future headaches. Also some people swear by a product called "head-on" I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It works really well for some people so it may be worth a try. Finally, try to lay down in a dark room and relax when a headache comes on. Good luck!

take some advil and keep away from bright objects or objects such as the computer where u have to strain ur eyes try to lay down and just relax..also this sounds weird but i sometimes get caffeine headaches so if u havent had caffeine today u might want to try to drink a soda

Drink lots of cold water, close your eyes and rest, take a painkiller, put a cold flannel on your forehead, DON'T go on the computer/read a book/listen to loud music/watch TV/ any of those, just rest and try to get a bit of sleep.

And if you are not a normal coffee drinker, some caffeine will actually help it leave. My mum does this because she doesn't usually drink coffee.
