What will help?!

Question: the pain and stiffness of a frozen shoulder. My doctor hasnt offically diagnozed it as that yet. ive just had an ultrasound done, and he said thats what it would most likely be. Swimming helps but it costs too much to go every day. Ihave had it for a month and the pain is still very intense. there is movement but it hurts like hell sometimes.

You can pick up an INFRA-RED vibrating massager rather cheap with different heads and heat/vibration-stimulation settings for under 10 dollars...look in Fred Meyers, Wal-Mart..Walgreens..etc. You might even find it cheaper this time of year..close outs, etc. Try using it often, or better yet, a hot relaxing bath in Epsom Salts and have someone else use it on the affected areas for you...I think I'd opt for a second opinion far from him in a different practicing hospital...check the new Dr. out!!! Hugs~health & happiness to you, and may you mend faster than you broke

try using a heating pad on the affected area

Heating pad, muscle relaxers and just keep walking it off. High School Gym Coaches cure-all.

Have you had an MRI? Maybe you should ask your doctor to do some more tests.
Have you tried Motrin or some other form of pain killer?
Have you tried a heating pad or something similar?
Your doctor should have prescribed some sort of physical therapy...this might help you with the movement and range of motion of your shoulder. You might want to try something like Ben-gay or some kind of muscle rub ointment.
Hope you feel better.

It has not been diagnosed yet. Therefore I am wondering if you have calcification of the shoulder? The treatment is usually a injection and PT. However if it is calcification, I found it better to have the Liotripsey, breaks up the calcification. Good Luck
