Knee implants have nickle parts?!
Question: I had bilateral total knee replacements over a year ago.I still have pain/swelling.I was recently told by a surgeon that I could have an allergy to the nickle parts of the knee replacements. It just so happens that I was treated for a skin allergy to nickle by a dermatologist several years ago! What should/can I do?

Did you tell your orthopedic surgeon of your nickel allergy?
If so - he probably would have used something else (which may have cost more).
Ask your surgeon to provide you a list of EVERYTHING that was put into you and take that to your normal doctor for their opinion.
