I am 38 an lately i have been suffering really bad leg and lower back pain ..?!
Question: the doctors really dont seem to tell me what this is they just give me drugs for the pain,and some times the pain is so bad i cant get out of bed,its only in my right leg and works its way down to my cafe,i have tried every thing to help with this pain but nothing works,its stiff all day long and its so hard to take care of my two year old that i cant even pick him up any more please help?

could in fact be a pinched nerve, the way to tell is sit in a regular even a computer type chair sit straight with both feet on the floor try to raise the leg of the side that hurts if you cant and get extreme shooting pain.. its a pinched nerve.. if it happens to be then go to a chiropractor for a few session.. (one that doesnt jar/pops the joints) and then invest in one of those portable massagers that have the round balls that rotate to massage (basically not the regular vibration type) but the one that actually pushes on you while rotating and put that on your lower back..
this is what happened to me and they wanted to do a expensive mri i skipped that investigated and went to a chiropractor, felt much better after first visit but did like 3 more then used the massager.
it was a pinched nerve between the L4- L5 in my back

dude, go see different doctors until you figure out whats going on.
It sounds like sciatic pain due to a pinched nerve.
I had the same problem and the pained started from my buttuck and continued down to my toes. Do you have weird sensations in your toes?
You need to speak to your doctor and organise an MRI scan. This will show up any disc bulges or pinched nerves.
What have you had for the pain? My doctor put me on Endone but this is an opioid painkiller and is for severe pain. I had to go on this after having a back operation to relieve the back and leg pain.
I would also suggest going on antidepressants because some are known to help with nerve pain which is clearly what you are having.

Pinched nerve, herniated disk, pelvic ligament instability. I am going through physical therapy now, it really isn't helping.
Try a different doctor, someone that can give you a proper diagnosis.

I would be trying another doctor and getting another opinion, it sounds like a pinched nerve / sciatica. I feel for you and the pain you are in as I have this problem at the moment with 3 bulging discs and the pain is debilitating.
Please get some help asap, hopefully someone will give you a scan to see the extent of any damage done, and get on some pain relief and anti-immflamatories.
