My son has a head to toe rash. What could it be?!

Question: Starting Saturday my son, who is 7 yrs. old, was feeling tired and complained of a headache, Sunday the same thing. Monday thinking he was feeling better I sent him to school only to pick him up mid-afternoon with a 102.4 fever. Tuesday he stayed home with a fever as I was giving him the proper medications to get rid of the fever it never seemed to help. Wednesday still a fever and now a rash forming in his private area and on his feet. This morning I called to make him a doc. appt. His rash is head to toe including in his ears, nose and mouth. It's worse in his private area were he complains of it hurting. I was trying to do some research to figure out what it may be but I'm not getting anywhere. Just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone and if I should be as worried as I am.
Thanks.

I would get him to a doctor. This sounds like Scarlett Fever. Has you seen any swelling in is ankles or joints? That is another sign that this is scarlett fever. Do not mess around because if his temprature gets hi enough it could cause problems when he's older and might want to have children. Scarlett Fever can cause damage to the reproductive system. So get him to the doctor and don't waste anytime.

might be scabies

it sounds like chicken pox to me!!! otherwise, if he's already had chicken pox then it could be a yeast infection. you need to get him to the doctor in a hurry!

Sounds like heat rash. Ooh. That or it could be thrush since it's in his mouth too. Does he have any alergies that you know of?

Edit: K. No allergies. Well, if it's not a heat rash then it is probably chicken pox. The first few days the bumps won't itch.

get back to the doctor or call a triage nurse

Yes, you should be worried. I think you should take him to the emergency room. Sometimes you have to demand for certain test to be done or the Doc's wont do it. It could be something that he ate or touched that caused such break out. However if you say that its in his nose and mouth...yes you need to get a second opinion

It does indeed sound like chicken pox, the first symptom usually being a headache.
Glad to hear your taking him to the doc's just to be sure.

To me its seems like he is having a dengue fever,,cos your son body temp seems to be too high,,and becos his liver is very heaty,,,this could alarm the body temp to rise inconsistance

Sounds like a med reaction. If he's on something, make sure you tell the doctor.
