This is truly disturbing and down right terrible. When you have to suffer from chronic pain everyday of your life you can never understand why anyone would want to INDUCE pain just to get out of something....which is obviously what you are trying to. I'm not one to judge but I almost jumped out of my chair when I read what you wrote. You will have to live with this choice the rest of your life and don't forget the months of PAIN-FULL Physical therapy, the lack of muscle tone from a cast and the possible surgery you may need. When you break a bone you almost always get twinges of pain for the rest of your life from time to time in the spot that was injured. What you really need here is someone to talk to. I think you may benefit from talking to someone you trust about whatever issue you are having that is causing you to think this way. I truly hope you re-think this idea and that you seek the help you need. Good Luck

A fracture IS a break and the effects can stay with you the rest of your life. You need to re-think this. Not a wise choice.

itll still hurt like a motha... but i think if you kick a wall with your foot extended out and hit it with your actuall ankle it should do the trick.. no good luck :)

a fracture IS a break, and a sprain hurts (a lot of times a sprain is a break too, just the tendon is broken)
Are you trying to get out of P.E./Gym? i wanted to do that once.

you could jump out of a tall tree. it will hurt though.

also i just saw how someone said the effects stay with you the rest of your life-- I have to say that is TRUE because I have an ankle that never healed and hurts at night most times a week.

Just a small fracture that won't hurt. That's funny. Now put the landing gear down on your flight of fancy and come back to earth.
What you're thinking of doing could cause permanent damage. You can't control how much you break a bone in your body. If it's going to break, you can't decide if it's going to be a fracture or a large break. Your body decides that.

well I'm not going to tell you how to hurt yourself that would be wrong. it hurts to sprain or fracture your ankle i know have had both. i am assuming your trying to avoid something so what ever your trying to get out of there is a better way to it besides hurting your self. Or if your trying to get attention this is definitely the wrong way to go about it. What ever the reason you want to do this I am sure there is a better alternative.

I'm asking WHY? A fracture, even a small one, is serious business. Find some other way to get attention kiddo.

A fracture is a break silly

ok you should not want to fracture your ankle?? but um try kiking somethink really hard in the spot!! odk y am i giving u advise to hurt your self?? ok umm goog luck??

Um....wow I am assumign you havent injured anything before cause if you had you wouldnt even dream of doing this. It hurts bad and you have to be on umcomfy, tiring crutches for weeks! I sprained my ankle last Thursday and now it hurts like mad and Im on crutches and I have an ankle brace! You are very lucky you arent injured because those things do hurt and if you're doing this for attention thats not the right way to get it. It's not just candy and flowers you know. It hurts, and some people are injured so bad they have to go to physical threapy for 2 months! BE GRATEFUL YOU'RE NOT HURT BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT YOU'LL REGRET IT LATER WHEN YOUR CRYING AND CLUTCHING YOUR ANKLE IN URGENT CARE> YOULL REGRET IT WHEN YOUR PITS HURT WHEN YOUR ON CRUTCHES AND GE TIRED! YOULL REGRET IT WHEN YOU HAVE AN ANKLE BRACE ON FOR 3 WEEKS!!!
