Tips for dealing with a migraine?!

Question: i've had one since last sunday on and off and i can't fully shake it despite being given drugs for it. when it's "off" it turns into a mild-moderate headache. when it's "on" it's really intense- probably the worst i've ever had. any tips would be muchly appreciated!!!!

I go to see my chiropractor. I know that some chiropractors have a very bad name, but mine is great.

He will adjust my neck and also he sprays this stuff on the top of my head that this really cold.

Remember a migrane is the swelling of arteries going to your brain. If you cant' get to a good doctor for an adjustment - try putting some ice on your neck - off and on as long as you can stand it - this might reduce the swelling enough to allow the migrane to go away for a longer period of time.

Take nuerofen and stop feeling sorry for yourself! I don't mean this horribly at all, it's just I find that if I mope around all day at home feeling sorry for myself I feel a hell of a lot worse than if I got on with life! Also keep drinking lots of water, that helps and get plenty of sleep!
Hope you get better soon!
xx

Oh right, what's your heart condition? I can try and find a pain killer that won't interfere, if you want? Do you know the ingredient that is the problem?

Magnesium helps.

You can find further information in a search for migraines + magnesium.
